Reality is an algorithm.
What you focus on expands.
Think about your “For You” page on TikTok. The more you save, like, comment on, or share a certain kind of video, the more the algorithm feeds it to you. Reality works the same way. If you keep replaying the same thoughts in your head, whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, or even hope and abundance. that’s the frequency your life begins to tune into.
According to Hermetic Law, physical reality is actually the lowest plane of existence. There’s physical, mental, and spiritual. And if you want to change your external world, you don’t start by wrestling with it on the physical level. You start by shifting your mental and spiritual reality first.
Your mental and energetic reality has an affect on your physical reality similar to how your physical well-being has an affect on your mental and energetic while being.
If something triggers an emotional reaction for you, that could be the old timeline peeking through, trying to bring you back. Your ego will always want to stick to the lower more familiar timeline. In order to shift into a higher timeline, you'll have to face yourself and your shadows on the way to your dreams and desires. Your ego loves to stay the same because it wants to preserve you and keep you safe, but this only keeps you stuck in the same cycles and thought patterns.
“What if I’m too much?”
“What if I’m not worthy of the love I desire?”
And if you continue to repeat the same thought patterns, you'll continue to experience the same emotions, exist in that same energy, focus on the same things, and continuing to experience the same problems and patterns over and over.
The only way to stop a pattern is to recognize it and choose another course. Sometimes you're changing a thought pattern because your physical circumstances seem hopeless, and this is all you can do at the moment. Or maybe you've learned from those moments and try to stay conscious and present, so you can consciously choose your reality. Either way, your reality will reflect the way you think, and you can't escape that. BUT you can realize that you're not your mind. You're the being perceiving the thoughts.
So whatever “videos” are showing up in your algorithm—your reality—are echoes of past energy you’ve embodied. If you want to see something different, you have to become someone different. That doesn’t mean pretending to be someone you’re not. It means you need to feel different because you are different. This is a matter of shifting your mind and energy to help you shift your physical circumstances more easily.
The other route would be to just go brute force hussle bro mode and grind your way to the top, but that one isn't so appealing to me personally. I prefer to live a peaceful and free life. I love when I can simply take mental note of a pattern I've become conscious of, become clearer on the reality I want, focus on aspects of my life that I'm grateful for that align me with that, and everything seems to naturally fall into place. I'm not saying it wont take any work. I'm just saying you've been gifted with a body and a mind.
Use your mind as the tool it was always meant to be. Just like you use your body as a tool. Our muscles will atrophy if we don't exercise them. Same with our brain.
Focus on what you want to see more of. This will continue to reflect back to you in your reality when more things start happening in your favor.
Your mental and spiritual reality informs your physical reality. Not the other way around. Unless you allow it. Use your mental wellbeing to leverage your physical wellbeing. We're physical and energetic beings. We need both aspects.
If you look at your current physical reality and declare, “This is the ultimate truth,” it becomes a feedback loop. I’ve done it. I’ve looked at my life before and thought:
“I’m so lonely.”
“I’m so broke.”
“Nothing’s working out.”
And what happened? More loneliness. More lack. More stuckness.
Every time I felt like I was at rock bottom, I made a decision.
Instead of trying to force my external world to shift, I decided to shift internally.
When I felt broke, I asked:
What reasons can I find to believe I am rich?
I had food, water, a roof, warm sheets to sleep in.
When I felt unloved, I asked:
Where am I already being taken care of?
By myself. By the people who do show up. By the little winks from the universe.
And then things started to move. A random check would show up. A good friend suddenly walked into my life. My energy softened. My heart opened. This wasn’t luck or coincidence. It was a direct result of me shifting the algorithm.
It’s wild how simple it actually is.
Not easy. But simple.
You are not stuck.
You are just watching the same video on repeat.
Close the app.
Clear the feed.
Start searching for something different.
And you’ll be amazed at how quickly a new reality appears on your timeline.
